Marybeth Alderman Melvin may be one of the tiniest brides I have ever styled but she is also one of the most BEAUTIFUL! I spent so much of my childhood with Marybeth so I felt so special when she ask me to do her hair and make-up for her wedding. The wedding was at the Baughman Center at the University of Florida in Gainesville and the ceremony was beautiful! We did a low up-do with Marybeth's hair to show off the open back of her dress. To make it look a little more laid back, we left some delicate pieces around her face to complete her look. I think it turned out wonderfully.
MaryBeth's mom, Ms. BJ is one of my favorite people. She has known me most of my life and I would bet that if you told her 20 years ago I would be doing her hair for MaryBeth's wedding I'm not so sure she would have believed you. She wanted her hair up and out of the way and I think this style was perfect. She was the perfect mother of the bride and looked beautiful walking down the isle.
Marybeth, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your wedding day. You have no idea how much it meant to me to be able to watch you walk down the isle to a man that loves you so much. You and Brent make such a beautiful couple and I know this is only the beginning of a beautiful family. Cheers to the Melvin's!
