Mr. and Mrs. Lance Bush

April 4, 2014

Ladies and gentleman, I introduce to you Mr. and Mrs. Lance Bush!

It was such a pleasure to spend the day with Ms. Chelsea Collins as she celebrated becoming Mrs. Bush. Growing up in First Baptist Church with Lance and his family as well as cheering with Chelsea in high school, being a part of their special day felt so natural to me.  I had the opportunity to style Chelsea's hair for both of her high school proms, so doing her hair and make-up for her wedding was just icing on the cake.   I remember talking to Chelsea a few years ago about her plans for the future and I remember her telling me she was not exactly sure what she wanted to do professionally, however she WAS ABSOLUTELY certain she wanted to marry Lance Bush. So, here we are a few years later watching her walk, beautifully down the isle to marry the man of her dreams. It was such a joy watching such a selfless young woman experience pure bliss on her wedding day. Being there to experience the smile on Chelsea's face was my favorite part about the entire day (besides the delicious wedding cake of course). Lance and Chelsea's relationship and their promise to keep their faith a priority in their future, is contagious and has truly been an inspiration! It was a blessing to be a part of their special day and a hair adventure I will never forget.

Chelsea has a head full of long, thin hair. We created a messy, but elegant up-do and added a feather hair piece to accent the 1920's theme of the wedding. We kept her make-up golden and natural so her pictures would turn out perfectly! Photography was provided by Leah Langley Photography. I have spotted a few of the wedding proofs and WOW Mrs. Langley knows her camera! All the pictures turned out beautifully and I would strongly recommend Leah to other brides.

Chelsea had a gorgeous, centered hairstyle picked out for her bridesmaids and it turned out perfectly! I loved how uniform they looked during the wedding. With their make-up, I wanted to make sure we kept them very matt and neutral. They all looked beautiful! This group of girls love their BRIDE and they knew exactly what to say to make her feel comfortable on her big day.

It was a flawless wedding for such a beautiful, deserving couple. Chelsea, thank you SO much for letting me spend the day with you! I know that this is only the beginning of a wonderful future for you and Lance.
